Avon Protection has been providing world class respiratory protection to military and law enforcement officers for more than 85 years and is proud to deliver our new generation of technically advanced products. In 2000 we were awarded the largest ever respirator contract by the Department of
Defense to design, develop and supply all four services and the coast guard with a new mask to replace all existing in-service masks such as the
M40, MCU2P and M45.
To compliment this new range of masks, Avon has invested heavily in research, development and new production facilities within the us to provide an advanced range of complimentary products that include: escape devices,
PAPR blowers and modular SCBA systems. Our ‘total system’ approach to respiratory protection provides the specialist wearer with the confidence and performance needed in ever changing hazardous environments.

The
NH15
hood is the world’s smallest NIOSH-certified CBRN (chemical, biological,
radiological and nuclear) escape hood specifically designed for police,
correction officers, emergency medical services and fire officers to
offer instant CBRN protection. The hood provides a high level of
respiratory, eye and face protection for up to 15 minutes to allow
sufficient time to evacuate from a contaminated area.
