Their products are backed by first-class training, service and repair -- all provided by some of the industry's most knowledgeable experts, from engineering to production to customer relations. Headquartered in metro Atlanta, ISI has nine regional offices in North America and more than 150 distributors throughout the world.

ISI recently won an international award for their innovative SCBA designs.

FIRE SERVICE/CBRN

The Viking Z SEVEN is -ISI’s latest advancement in SCBAs, certified to NIOSH, CBRN, and NFPA 1981, 1982: 2007 editions. The Z SEVEN features a new proprietary wireless electronics package that extends battery life and reduces signal interference more effectively than Bluetooth technology; a new NFPA Standard- meeting PASS device; a 2,000 event data logging system; a two piece enclosed back frame that protects the pressure reducer, bell, and PASS alarm; an easy to use control console; an improved Voice Amplification System (VAS); and many other features—all in a comfortable to wear, easy to use, simple to maintain package.
  RIT RESCUE SYSTEM

ISI offers the Rescuer RIT bag for use by rapid intervention teams that allows fire fighters to offer air to trapped or downed firefighters. You have a choice between three rescue systems, either the RIC, RIT or both types of fittings. Either system can be used with high or low pressure cylinders of any duration. The RIC system uses the universal fitting required by the NFPA 1981, 2002 edition. It can be attached to the Viking SCBA and remain connected so that the cylinder automatically refills when it is below full. The RIT system allows you to attach the fitting to either the facemask or buddy breather of the Viking SCBA. There is also An end-of-service alarm to warn when the spare cylinder is low. The Combo unit combines both the RIC and RIT options to allow users to use with either type system.

INDUSTRIAL/HAZMAT/POLICE

The ISI Vanguard is a NIOSH approved SCBA, delivering high durability and performance with excellent respiratory protection. The Vanguard SCBA offers integrated communications for clear voice amplification and radio interface options.

The Vanguard has a two-piece compartmentalized backframe that protects pneumatic components from harsh environments while offering a contoured fit to distribute the weight evenly and comfortably.

With the AirSwitch regulator integrated into the facemask, docking is eliminated. It saves air and seconds, which are critical in emergencies. For easy cleaning and disinfecting, unplug the facemask and regulator and immerse both into warm soapy water or disinfectant.

Available options include voice amplification communications with an in-mask waterproof microphone, buddy breathing, and airline for supplied air.

INDUSTRIAL/HAZMAT/POLICE

The ISI Frontier SCBA, designed for industrial users and first responders, exceeds industry standards at a price you can't beat. The Frontier's few and uncomplicated components make it easy to use and maintain.

ISI's compact demand valve (CDV) is the industry's smallest high flow regulator. A first breath option is available.

NIOSH approved.

Three optional positive pressure face pieces provide a protection factor of 10,000.

REMOTE AIRLINE SYSTEMS

ISI offers a range of remote airline systems for both I.D.L.H. (Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health) or NON-I.D.L.H. environments.

The AS1 Single–- an ideal air supply when portability and versatility are concerns.

The easy to use AS1 Single is designed to work with any cylinder and can have a second cylinder added without interrupting the air supply. The frame includes adjustable straps that fit any breathing air supply cylinder.

Available in 2216, 3000, 4500 and 5000 psi configurations

The ISI ARAP-C is designed to provide breathing air in non-I.D.L.H. areas where ambient air may be irritating as in high dust, agricultural or mining applications. It can be attached to an air source with up to 300 feet of hose in order to enter into remote areas.

The ISI ARAP-Escape is a high performance type C respirator equipped with a 5-, 10-, or 15-minute cylinder. Available with either a nylon or Kevlar® harness, it offers workers ample time to escape IDLH atmospheres when needed.

THESE THREE FACE MASK OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE VANGUARD AND FRONTIER SCBAS AND THE ARAP AIRLINE RESPIRATORS

Facemask with CDV regulator is available in two sizes and has a spider harness.

Combination of facemask and regulator allows users to easily switch between cylinder and ambient air.

Allows users with facial hair or glasses to enter IDLH atmospheres. Utilizes CDV regulator.

Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus (EEBA)

The ISI EEBA provides respiratory protection for escape from atmospheres that have become Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH).

The clear hood allows full peripheral vision and protection even if user has glasses, long hair or facial hair. The unit is totally self-contained inside a carrying pouch that can be stored in work areas or carried around the waist, neck or over the shoulder.

Available with both 5- and 10-minute duration cylinders. Choose a PVC hood for chemical resistance or a polyurethane hood for cold weather operations.   NIOSH approved.

This palm-sized ISI 3500 TIC is so efficient that a single battery

provides full-function operation for over four hours, eliminating the need for battery change on the fire scene.

The state-of-the-art thermal

imaging technology of the 3500 TIC consistently produces clearer

images than competitive products,

especially in very high temperature

ranges.

The picture just below shows the

3500 TIC on it’s optional extension

pole with remote display.

THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS

In 1997 ISI introduced the VISION line of thermal imaging cameras to the fire service. In 1998, ISI introduced the VISION 3, the first thermal imaging camera to utilize the BST thermal sensor by L3 Communications*.

With the introduction of the Amorphous Silicon engine, ISI developed the ISI 2500, 3500 and subsequently the ISI nVISION TICs. Lightweight, compact and highly durable, the new TICs offer additional features and accessories not available on previous thermal imagers.

Today's thermal imagers have gone far beyond the "see through smoke" application. TICs provide firefighters with valuable, timesaving information for rapid scene analysis including hidden fires, structural degradation, hazardous environmental conditions and spot temperatures.  They help firefighters complete their mission more efficiently, more safely and a lot faster than anyone. Anywhere.
(*Formerly Raytheon)

ISI’s newest version in the nVISION series of thermal imaging cameras.

After a ten foot drop, the thermal imaging cameras

from ISI acted like nothing happened.

They are the only TICs to have passed a ten foot  drop test – not just surviving six consecutive

10’ drops, but also remaining fully operational without a restart.

nVISION XTP features include

Hi-res image design

•  Utilizes a 320 x 240 sensor array

• Optional 4x zoom

• Optional video capture.

• Lightweight binocular style design

• Slide-on external battery for easy change out

• Four hour, NiMH rechargable batteries (2)

• Padded side straps for comfort during use

• Digital temperature readout/temperature scale

• Padded handstraps for comfort and stability

• Three-second on operation

• The first true diagnostic charging system

• Three-color temperature colorization

The 3500 and nVISION now have available the optional

“ECHOSEEKER” Fire Fighter

locating system that can also

be retrofitted to the

3500 TIC.

The EchoVision from ISI is a snap on receiver that attaches to the bottom of a 3500 or nVISION Thermal Imaging Camera and monitors the “PULSE” from the ECHOTRACER mounted on an SCBA.

This Revolutionary Technology uses ultrasonic technology to monitor a “Beacon” transmitted from a downed or lost Fire Fighter.  A Series of LEDs indicates the signal strength of the transmitted signal and when coupled with the TIC’s ability to see in a dense smoke environment dramatically simplifies the location and rescue of a downed Fire Fighter.

Stand alone locator and exit beacons greatly reduce the exit time once the Fire Fighter is found.
