Introducing Chieftain's latest turnout system featuring groundbreaking technology and the ultimate design to protect firefighters against today's toughest challenges- the 3200 Ultra.
Chieftain developed the 3200Ultra utilizing the latest research on ergonomics in personnel protective clothing and developed the patented TridentTM system. This is a three-tier system designed for maximum multi-dimensional flexibility.
The 3200 Ultra jacket is the only firefighter jacket that incorporates expansion bellows in the underarms, elbow breaks, and an action back system. While competitor products are flexible in only the arms or back, the 3200Ultra incorporates all three, enhancing over arm reach without exposing the midsection, and allowing greater upper arm rotation and reduced drag. The pants also incorporate the TridentTM system with knee breaks, expansion knees and a gusseted crotch.
 
3200MXZ
The latest addition to the Chieftain System, the new 30MXZ turnout suit combines the comfort and lightweight of a short 30-inch coat with the extra safety and protection of raised-back pants. The new 30MXZ provides dependable protection, plus the freedom of movement to climb, crawl, lift and maneuver.
Crafted of only the highest quality, UL listed materials, the Chieftain 30MXZ has been UL certified to meet the requirements of NFPA 1971, 2000 Edition. The Chieftain 30MXZ has also been certified in Canada to meet the requirements of CAN/CGSB 155.1-01.

The Chieftain 3200X is consistently rated as one of the most comfortable suits available. Many of the exclusive Chieftain design features focus on comfort and ease of mobility. Other features are included to increase protection, eliminate water intrusion and extend the durability and service life of each suit.
NFPA Approved Reflective Trim is included on both jacket and pant, consisting of 3MTM ScotchliteTM Reflective material. Three-inch triple trim is used exclusively in the "NYC-Style" pattern, providing greater visibility.
 
30M & 35M
The Chieftain 35M and 30M Turnout Gear Systems offer the optimal blend of dependable protection and user comfort at affordable prices. You can count on quality, whether you choose a traditional length coat/pant combination (35M) or a short coat/high waist pant combination (30M).
What's the difference? The 35M coat is a traditional five inches longer and the pants are a standard waist height. The 30M has a 30-inch coat, which allows for greater freedom of movement. The 30M pants have a 5-inch raised back for increased protection.
